Edu-Cat Children At Task is a Cape Town based company which opened it’s doors in 2011 under the leadership of Colleen Fernandes. With her passion and interest in Early Learning, she has steadily paved her way, standing strong and persevering.
At Edu-Cat Children At Task, we develop, manufacture and supply products nationally - WCED Schools, Early Learning Centres, Educare Centres, with a few overseas clients. Since inception, our product line and services have grown at a steady pace, securing us a spot in the ever growing Educational Toy market.
So, what sets us aside from all the other suppliers out there...our products are ALL unique to Edu-Cat Children At Task.
We have listened to the needs of the educators, parents, homeschooling groups, caregivers and developed high quality, affordable products.
We specialize in Fine Motor Development and provide products in all learning areas pertaining to Early Learning.
Our Classroom Resources and products are used in both Mainstream and Special Needs Schools.
Learning through play is paramount in the Early Years and this we provide through our products which aid the educators, parents, caregivers, remedial teachers, occupational therapists in developing Confident young learners.
School Readiness
Preparing ones child for school can be daunting, so we developed School Readiness Kit Boxes. With these boxes, we provide a stress free, full guidance, age appropriate educational toys to develop the various learning areas and make for an easy transition from home to school environment.
Fine Motor Skills Workshop - Educators
Since 2023, we have been running Teacher Training Workshops surrounding Fine Motor Development. These workshops have grown from strength to strength with WCED approval. Planning for parent training workshops are on the cards for the future.
